Unlike the other ShellToys, this tool adds an item directly to the top of the context menu shown when you right-click a blank space in a folder or Open/Save dialog. Clicking the Up One Level item switches to the current folder's parent in the same window.

Note: This item does not function in Open/Save file dialogs on Windows 98 and Windows 98 SE systems.
